I am a corporate sustainability specialist with 6 years of experience working with companies across sectors, international development agencies, trade associations and various other partner organizations including global NGOs.
My current role at WBCSD involves managing the India programme of the Cement Sustainability Initiative (10 leading cement manufacturers accounting for more than 60% of country production) which is one of the largest global sustainability programs ever undertaken by a single industry sector. My role sees me supporting initiatives of the Indian cement sector on climate protection (including alternative fuels and raw materials), health and safety, biodiversity and emissions, including identifying and operationalising collaborative actions. I am also working to support WBCSD’s Road to Paris and deliver on the Action2020 Regional Climate Dialogue in India, seeking to enhance the progressive business voice and drive business action to help secure a robust global climate deal in Paris, December 2015.
